The PRO 20 filter provides an average of 20 dB reduction, which is about 100 times less sound. At above 4K provides about 200 times less sound. Although music and industry noise sounds completely different, some instruments and mechanical tools produce sound in similar frequencies and volumes.

Music Use: PRO 20 is designed for drummers, electric guitarists, and percussionists to perform high and intense for long periods of time; the specially adjusted full range progressive attenuation curve allows you to clearly hear the low frequencies of drums and guitars while protecting you from loud cymbals or electric guitar whine.

Industrial Use: PRO 20 is designed to handle the high-frequency noise generated during the operation of light power tools or automated machines, gradually increasing attenuation as the frequency increases and achieving 24.5dB attenuation at 8KHz to protect your hearing from damage.
