SleepSound Earplugs Wearing Procedures
The ACS logo and the serial number are shown in Red and Blue on the flat front side of the earplugs.

The RED Colour represents the right ear, and the BLUE Colour represents the left ear.

1. Take out the Aloe Vera Comfort Cream from the box and squeeze a rice-sized drop onto the tip of your finger. Spread the cream around the canal tip of the earplug.

2. Pinch the handle of the earplug with your forefinger and thumb, hold the earplug with the ACS logo facing your front, and insert the earplug into the opening of the ear canal.

3. With your mouth open, grasp the handle and slowly push the earplug inward, slightly towards the back of your head. Continue until the earplug stops and you feel it fully fitted in your ear canal, and the outside sound becomes quieter.

4. Using your hand, pull the earlobe down or pull the auricle of the ear outwards, keeping your mouth open, and using your fingertips, slightly rock the earplug in a up and down and side to side movement, until you feel the earplug fitted comfortably in your ear canal and the sound around you may become even quieter.

SleepSound Earplugs Removal Method
As shown in the video, gently pinch the pull tab of the SleepSound earplug. using the fleshy pads of your thumb and index finger, and slowly pull it outward in a steady motion.

To remove the SleepSounds, use the fleshy pads of your thumb and index finger, pinch the tab, and gently pull the earplugs out.
Important: Do not use your fingernails to dig into the tab , as this will damage the silicone and cause it to tear.

If removal feels difficult, try opening your mouth to relax the ear canal while continuing to gently and firmly pull the earplug outward.

SleepSound Earplugs Cleaning Method
Sleep Earplugs are made of medical-grade silicone. The surface of the earplugs is coated with a soft, clear lacquer to seal the silicone surface giving the silicone a sticky feel, which is essential for forming a good seal with the ear canal.

The human ear canal secretes a slightly acidic oil to protect it, and after a while, this oil will accumulate on your SleepSound earplugs. When too much oil accumulates, the earplugs will easily slide around inside the ear canal, resulting in a poor fit and allowing outside sound to leak into the ear canal.

This means cleaning the earplugs. To protect the clear lacquer, never clean the earplugs with solvents (e.g., alcohol), or strong alkaline soaps. Simply rinse with water and rub your fingers over the surface of the earplugs to easily remove the grease. At most, use a rice-sized amount of mild cleanser, lather it up with your fingers, rinse with water, and air dry the earplugs.

When you wear the SleepSound again, you will feel you are getting a much better seal against your ear canal.
