Founded in 1994 in London by professional musician and audiologist Andy Shiach, ACS specializes in custom hearing protection earbuds and custom in-ear monitoring headphones for professional musicians. After that, he shifted his focus to creating products for the music industry that could deliver pure music while protecting his hearing.

In 2000, Andy traveled to China to do business and met Mike (the head of ACS Asia Pacific), and the two began many business collaborations.

In 2014, Mike and Andy collaborated to establish the Asia Pacific branch of ACS in Taiwan, "ACS ASIA Co., Ltd." to promote ACS products to Asia and the Chinese and music industry; ACS products have been recognized by world-famous musicians, singers, bands, recording artists and other music professionals.

Within the first year, we provided many top Taiwanese musicians and singers with custom-made in-ear monitor headphones. Many DJs in Taiwan also started to use ACS PRO custom earbuds to protect their hearing. In the years that followed, we gradually expanded our hearing protection services into the industrial and dental fields and have helped many people working in loud environments.

ACS's SleepSound custom sleep earplugs have become the best-rated sleep earplugs on the Internet, allowing those with sleep disturbances to sleep soundly every night. In 2019, we launched Soteria Universal Earplugs' to provide immediate hearing protection for music students and industrial workers in Taiwan.

For 26 years, ACS has insisted on using soft silicone because it is the only material that provides comfort, warmth, and pure sound.

Today, ACS serves a wide range of industries and government agencies, providing hearing protection and communication products for all environments in addition to the music industry, solving the noise problems of everyday life.

In 2020, Our goal in establishing the ACS-SELECT online store was to make high-quality custom products available to those living in overseas or remote areas. We hope to bring the best ACS products to as many people as possible and use technology to improve their quality of life.
