The ACS PRO Drivercom is an improved version of the ACS Drivercom. The racers told us that they wanted to hear ambient sounds clearly while protecting their hearing. They want to be able to listen to the engine and exhaust sounds, as well as in-car warnings and racetrack sirens. We combined our proven PRO filters with ACS Drivercom to create the perfect motorsports communication product.
Typically, wearing earplugs blocks your ear canal, and your own voice rumbles in your head when you speak (this is called the blocking effect). Caused by your voice transmitted to the blocked ear canal through the cartilage by your ears. This sound usually escapes through the open ear canal, so you don't hear it. ACS PRO filter has an exclusive bi-directional conductive design that will vent this blocked sound, virtually eliminating the blocking effect—allowing you to listen to the sound that is closest to your natural voice. When you wear The PRO Communicator talk to others on the radio, you will no longer be affected by the blocking effect, making it close to completely natural. Also, the ear canal's stuffy and hot feeling is reduced because of the bi-directional conduction.
Driving at extremely high speeds requires absolute visual attention to what is ahead on the track for a racer. Experienced racers use engine sound volume and tone change to know exactly where they are on the power curve, which helps them react better and more sensitively. Of course, they also need to monitor any communications, in-car alarms, and racetrack sirens to stay in the race.
ACS PRO custom earbuds are known for their precision and superior ear canal sealing. As you move your chin or head, the shape of the ear canal changes. ACS PRO custom earplugs precisely follow these changes, maintaining an excellent seal between the earplug and the ear canal, isolated from outside noise. Ensuring only filtered sound enters the ear canal.
Below is the attenuation curve of the PRO 27. You can see that the attenuation from the low frequencies to 2KHz is about 22dB. The PRO 27 enhances the attenuation from 2KHz onwards. At 4KHz, the most sensitive point for the human ear is 32dB (1600x). Achieving a 34dB (2500x) attenuation protection at 8K.
Within the first month, after you receive your ACS PRO racer headphones, you will be able to change the filter free of charge.
