Protect your hearing; it's crucial to keep harsh frequencies and excessive sound levels out of your ear canal.
Unlike low-cost foam earplugs, ACS earplugs use filters to filter out ambient noise, lower the volume, and provide additional attenuation of the harsh frequencies. It's like wearing polarized sunglasses on a sunny day - the glare is less, so your eyes aren't irritated by it, and the polarized lenses eliminate stray reflected light to see more clearly. The ACS filter lowers the volume to hear ambient sounds safely, and we've also removed excess dangerous frequencies for safer sound and a smoother listening experience. Foam earplugs only block out all sound, giving you the impression of severe hearing loss and isolating you from the world.
The ACS PRO filter is a product that has been developed over 25 years of research and development for the treatment of noise. We have customers worldwide using ACS custom earplugs in music, transportation, heavy industry, construction, textiles, power generation, dentistry, and even the military and police who have found solutions to reduce noise.
From the beginning, ACS has always insisted on using only soft silicone materials for its custom earplugs. We use the most advanced 3D production equipment to make each earplug from our beginnings with completely handmade earplugs to today. ACS PRO custom earplugs are known for their precision and superior ear canal fit. As your ear canal changes shape due to the jaw or head movement, ACS custom earplugs precisely follow the changes in your ear canal. In addition, they maintain excellent seals between the earplugs and the ear canals, isolating external noise, and allowing only the sound passed through the PRO filters to enter the ear canals.
The PRO 20 industrial earplugs handle high-frequency noise generated during light power tools or automated machines. The PRO 20's intensity increases as the frequency increases, achieving a 20dB attenuation at the base frequency (near 2KHz) of most light power tools and a 25dB attenuation 8KHz. As a result, hearing is protected from damage while maintaining ambient sound perception.
The PRO filter has a unique bi-directional conduction design that dramatically reduces the occlusion effect of wearing earplugs, allowing you to hear your own natural voice while singing; it is also breathable, which keeps the ear canal comfortable.
The left diagram below shows the attenuation curve of the PRO 20. The graph on the right shows the safe listening time of different PRO filters at other ambient sound pressures. If the PRO 20 doesn't provide enough safe listening time at your ambient sound pressure, you must use a higher attenuation filter, such as the PRO 26 filter.
