ACS PRO communication headphones combine the experience and technology of our renowned PRO noise-canceling earbuds with custom in-ear monitoring headphones to deliver the best of three worlds: clear sound, hearing protection, and environmental awareness.

Typically, wearing earplugs blocks your ear canal, and your own voice buzzes in your head when you speak (this is called the blocking effect). Caused by your voice transmitted to the blocked ear canal through the cartilage by your ears. This sound usually escapes through the open ear canal, so you don't hear it.  ACS PRO filter has an exclusive bi-directional conductive design that will vent this blocked sound, virtually eliminating the blocking effect—allowing you to listen to the sound that is closest to your natural voice.  When you wear The PRO Communicator talk to others on the radio, you will no longer be affected by the blocking effect, making it close to completely natural. Also, the ear canal's stuffy and hot feeling is reduced because of the bi-directional conduction.

For a long time, people who work in extremely noisy environments have had great difficulty listening to radio communications. If they wear noise-blocking earplugs, they had to remove them, then turn the volume to a deafening level to hear the transmissions. 

If they wear highly effective noise blocking earplugs, they will lose hearing ambient sound. Firefighters, construction workers, riot police, race car drivers, concert security or stagehands, and even military personnel all have similar problems.

ACS PRO custom earplugs are known for their precision and superior sealing of the ear canal. Because when you move your chin or head, your ear canal changes its shape. ACS custom earplugs precisely follow these changes, maintaining an excellent seal between the earplugs and the ear canal, isolated from outside noise.  Ensures filtered sound can enter the ear canal.

Below are the attenuation curves of PRO 26 and PRO 27. You can see that the PRO 26 maintains a decay of about 26 dB (about 400 times) from the low frequencies up to 4KHz, and then rapidly increases to 32.4 dB (about 1600 times) at 8KHz. The attenuation of the PRO 27's attenuation curve at low frequencies is about 4 dB less than that of the PRO 26, but the attenuation increases from 25 dB at 2KHz to 32 dB at 4K (about 1600 times) and 34 dB at 8K (about 2500 times) at high frequencies.
