One-Year Limited Warranty for Customized Products
Custom Product Definition
All models of custom monitors, all models of custom noise-reduction earplugs, all models of custom communication earphones, custom broadcast earmolds, custom sleep and swim earplugs.
ACS-SELECT warrants all custom products against defects in manufacture, parts, or materials for a period of one year from the date of delivery.
Conditions Covered by the One-Year Limited Warranty
● Manufacturing defects.
● Component or material defects or failures.
When a customer requests warranty service, we will verify the validity of the warranty.
Conditions not covered by the one-year limited warranty
● After using the custom monitors and not following the instructions to perform the desiccation maintenance, resulting in the accumulation of moisture in the audio driver of the monitors, causing failures;
● Damages are caused by the use of solvents or corrosive cleaning agents.
● Damage because of accidental immersion of the product in water or by an excessive external force.
● Unauthorized person to modify or repair the product.
● The clogging of the earphone sound duct due to earwax buildup.
All ACS custom monitors are shipped with ear wax protection to prevent ear wax from entering deep into the audio duct; we also provide an ear wax removal tool to remove ear wax from the audio duct outlet.
● Damage to the filter caused by improper cleaning.
The filter used in the ACS PRO custom noise-canceling earplugs contains a patented precision membrane that handles the sound entering the ear canal, and the filter retains its function even if it gets wet from rain or sweat. However, the filter material should not be directly exposed to high air pressure, high water pressure, or high temperature. Do not use high-pressure water or a compressed air gun to rinse or blow on the filter, and do not use a hot air gun to dry it; leave the wet filter to dry only.
The 30-day Period for Custom Product Fit Problems Earmold Adjustment or Remake.
We will adjust or remake the product for any custom product that does not fit within 30 days of delivery and provide a new 30-day fit period after the adjustment or remake. ACS reserves the right to make adjustments or remanufacture at its option, with a one-time limit on custom product remanufactures.
We will consider unfit complaints and wearing issues past the 30-day limit as a repair, and we will quote a repair fee. We will not start work until such a fee is confirmed and approved by the customer.
Product Color Variation
Conditions Covered by the One-Year Limited Warranty
If a custom product is delivered in a completely different color from the color ordered, we will remanufacture it.
Conditions Not Covered by the One-Year Limited Warranty
The ACS-SELECT website's pictures are made to simulate the actual product's color as closely as possible. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control, and we do not provide any warranty for the following color variations.
● The difference in color between the screen of a cell phone, tablet, computer, and physical product.
● Because of the visual color difference generated by the different thicknesses of transparent silicone.
● The difference between the customer's mental expectation of the color of the product and the actual color.
Other Conditions Not Covered by the One-Year Limited Warranty
The Cost of the Second Set of Earmolds
If you have selected the (Self-Procured Ear Impressions) option and the ear impressions you sent are unfortunately not usable. Then you will have to go back to the original impression maker and ask them to make a new set. You can refer to the Impressions Guidelines page or send the URL of the page to your ear impression taker for reference.
Since we have already given you clear instructions on the ear impressions' requirements, we have also provided you a discount for ear impression fees. Therefore, the cost of remaking the ear impressions and shipping the second set of impressions to ACS must be borne by you.
