ACS ASIA Co., Ltd., the operator of ACS-SELECT, respects your concerns about privacy and values our relationship with you. 

When you visit a store ("Store") that we have been authorized to set up by SHOPLINE ("SHOPLINE"), our SaaS service provider, we may collect and process, and use personal information about you (including your employees and/or those who represent and act on your behalf). We may also collect, process, and use your personal data if you visit or make a purchase at the Store. We are fully aware of the importance of personal information to you, and we are committed to ensuring the integrity and security of the Store. This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information we collect about you, how we use that information, who we share it with, and your choices regarding our use of that information.

What We Collect

Information you provide
You may provide us with personal information in various ways, such as when you register, shop on our Store, or through our social media (or its associated stores or corresponding extensions). The types of personal information you may provide to us (where applicable) include

You voluntarily provide us with your personal information, but if you do not provide your personal information, you may not be able to access certain services and promotions.

Why We Collect Your Personal Information
The Store collects personal information for the specific purpose of providing goods or services to you, including but not limited to providing: (1) consumer, and customer management and services; (2) consumer protection; (3) online shopping and other e-commerce services; (4) verification of your personal identity (e.g., to protect you from criminal acts such as fraud); and (5) resolution of various types of disputes (including but not limited to consumer disputes, intellectual property disputes, etc.). We may use the information you provide for the following purposes.

- To contact you to follow up or confirm your order, appointment, return or refund, and to send you other non-marketing communications related to the products and services we have provided to you;

- Process your payments and/or transactions;

- Create and manage your account, including accessing your purchase history;

- Customize advertisements in our stores, social media stores and other locations to meet your interests and history;

- Communicate with you and manage your participation in special events, contests, sweepstakes, activities (if any), surveys, and other offers;

- Operate and communicate with you about our social networks or [mobile applications];

- Operate, evaluate and improve our business (including developing new products and services, enhancing and improving our products and services, managing our communications, analyzing our products, performing market research, data analysis, and customer relationship management programs, and performing accounting, auditing, and other internal functions);

- Comply with applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards, and our policies;

- To avoid duplication and ensure your information's accuracy, please periodically perform data cleansing, linking, or merging our records internally or through our service providers.

We may also use this information in other ways and send specific notices when we collect it.

If you provide us with your personal information, we intend to use it for direct marketing purposes to offer or advertise the availability of our goods and/or services. However, we will confirm at the time of the first marketing message to you that you do not wish to receive such marketing messages; if you do not wish to do so, you may express your wishes to us at the time of the first marketing message, or you may refuse to receive further marketing messages at any time.


We may use the personal information outlined in the "Information You Provide" section above for direct marketing purposes if you provide us with such information and expressly consent to such use.

Direct marketing communications may be sent to you through various channels, including telephone, mail, email, SMS, mobile apps, web apps, social media stores, and other communication methods. How we use "cookies" and other similar tracking technologies

A cookie is a small file stored on your computer, cell phone, or any other smart terminal device by a store server when you log in to a store or browse store content, usually containing an identifier, the store name, and some numbers and characters. When you use our Store, we may collect the device model, operating system, device identifier, and login IP address information of the personal data subject through cookies or similar technologies, and cache the browsing information and click information of the personal data subject to view the personal data subject's network environment. You can delete existing tracking technologies on the Store by clearing the cache.

When you visit a web page without logging in, we collect the cookies needed to implement the browsing function to provide you with the relevant services.

Please note that if you refuse to use or delete existing tracking technologies, you will need to change your user settings in person each time you visit, we may not be able to provide you with a superior user experience, and some features may not function properly.

How we process and use, share, transfer and disclose personal data

(1) Processing and Use

Certain features of the Store may be provided by our third-party partners, and we may engage our partners (including technology service providers) to process certain of your personal information. For example, when you use the auto-pay feature, we may ask third-party payment companies to process your credit card information in order to charge you for the relevant services as instructed by you; when paying with SHOPLINE, we may ask third-party service providers to process your personal information and that of your customers, and these service providers may facilitate "know-your-customer" and transaction monitoring and risk management. - Sharing with SHOPLINE and SHOPLINE affiliates: To provide you with SHOPLINE products and services, to make recommendations that may be of interest to you, to resolve account issues, and to protect the personal and property of our affiliates or other users or the public, you acknowledge and agree that we may share your personal information and that of your customer personal information with our affiliates. We will only share personal information to the extent necessary and subject to the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. If we share sensitive personal information or our affiliates use and process personal information for a different purpose, we will seek your authorization and consent again.

- Sharing with our third-party partners: We will only share personal information for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and identifiable purposes, and only as much personal information as is necessary to provide the relevant services to you or your customers. We do not share personal information that identifies you unless otherwise required by law or regulation. Often, these third-party partners are data controllers who will process personal information in their own accounts with your consent. Such partners may have their own separate privacy policies and user agreements.

In principle, we do not transfer personal data control to any third-party, except for the following.

- At the request of the personal data subject or with your prior express authorization or consent;

- In connection with the fulfillment of our obligations under laws and regulations;

- directly related to national security and national defense;

- directly related to public safety, public health, and vital public interests;

- directly related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials and enforcement;

- In order to protect your life, property, and other important legitimate interests or those of any other person, but it is difficult to obtain the authorized consent of that person;

- You disclose the personal information involved to the public;

- The personal information involved is collected from lawful and publicly disclosed information;

- The transfer is made in case of a change in the operating entity following an acquisition, merger, reorganization, or bankruptcy.

Note: If a transfer is required for any of the above reasons, we will inform you of the purpose and type of information and the transferee (and if sensitive information is involved, we will also inform you) before the transfer and obtain your consent, unless otherwise required by law or regulation. The transferee will continue to perform its obligations concerning personal data under this Agreement. If we go out of business or cease operations and there is no transferee, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.


(4) Public Disclosure

In principle, we will not disclose your personal information to the public or to undefined groups. Still, we may disclose your personal information in accordance with our agreement with you or applicable laws and regulations.

 

Children
The Store is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and the Store and its affiliates, subsidiaries, or its strategic partners do not knowingly collect personal information from children, disclose, share or transfer any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of thirteen (13), you should not provide your information under any circumstances or for any reason. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to request deletion. If the Store becomes aware of any personal information collected from children under the age of thirteen (13), the Store will take steps to delete such personal information.


Your Rights and Choices
We offer you certain choices regarding the personal information we collect from you, such as how we use the information and how we communicate with you. To update your preferences, request that we remove your information from our mailing lists or submit a request, please contact us as described below.

You can tell us not to send you marketing communications via email at any time by double-clicking the unsubscribe link in the marketing emails you receive from us or by contacting us as described in the "How to Contact Us" section below. You may request that we do not send you text messages by contacting us in the following ways.


- Social Networking Application Opt-Out Announcements
To remove or delete our social media applications from your social network account, please follow the instructions in your social network.

- Geolocation Information
When you use our mobile applications, you may be asked to provide your geographic location through the mobile application. You can choose not to share your geolocation details by adjusting your mobile device's location services settings. To refuse to share your geolocation details, please follow the instructions on your mobile device to change the relevant settings; otherwise, please contact your service provider or device manufacturer.

- Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw any consent you have previously provided to us, or object to the processing of your personal data at any time for legitimate reasons. We will apply your preferences in the future. In some cases, withdrawing your consent to our use or disclosure of your personal data will mean that you will not be able to take advantage of some of our products or services.

- Viewing, Updating, and Modifying Personal Information
We may retain and use your information as necessary to fulfill these purposes. You have the right to request access to and receive detailed information about the personal data we maintain about you, to update and correct inaccuracies in your personal data, and to block or delete that information as appropriate. In some cases, the right of access to personal data may be limited by local legal requirements. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information you provide against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information about you will remain secure under any circumstances, including the security of your data during transmission to us or the security of data on your mobile device.

 

How We Update This Privacy Policy 
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically, without notice, to reflect changes in our personal information practices. We will notify you of any significant changes to our Privacy Policy by posting a prominent notice on our store and indicating at the top of the policy when it was last updated.
