Personalization Options Detailed Description

The basic model of the Custom Monitors and the Custom Protective Earplugs are both made of colorless transparent silicone with only a small red and blue ACS logo and serial number engraved on the inside of the left and right earmoulds. The basic model is a full-featured custom product in its simplest form.

Most customers want a more refined look. Some may wish to have only colored silicone; some want to add an ACS logo, some like their name engraved, some want their band's logo engraved, and create a unique product for you using your imaginations.

We have divided the "Personalization Options" of our custom products into four categories: "Silicone Color," "Text Engraving," "Graphic Engraving," and "ACS Logo Engraving" on the main menu for quick access.

To allow you to make each ear with a different appearance and effect, every option is ordered by a single ear. Even if the color or engraving is the same for both ears, you still need to order each ear separately.

Even if both the left and right ears are to exact optional silicone color and engraving, you still need to order each option by the left and right ear separately. The advantage of this arrangement is that you can see all every single order detail at a glance when you open the shopping cart,' which makes it easy to do a final check before checking out.

Because the options are unique, and because we use a standard shopping cart system, you can't enter text or upload files used for engraving directly into the cart. For this reason, we have set up a few extra steps in the checkout process to allow the customer who has purchased the engraving option to make other choices and enter information.

Please note that any incomplete answers and insufficient information will prevent us from placing the order into production, causing delivery delays. Therefore, please ensure that you have provided the necessary information. If there is any confusion, please contact us first before completing the checkout process.

In addition to the colorless and transparent silicone used in the basic model, we also have six transparent colors and nine opaque colors of silicone for you to customize your products.

We use medical-grade soft silicone made in Germany, which has excellent properties. As long as it is not affected by external mechanical force or chemicals, it can last for many years and maintain its function.

Color Silicone is the first option because the visual effect of the color used for Laser Engraving will be affected by the color of the silicone earmoulds. Therefore, you must first decide on the silicone earmould's color before you can make the color selection for Laser Engraving.

Note: The color of the real silicone will be slightly different from the color displayed on your computer or cell phone screen, which is normal. We cannot provide warranty service for minor differences between the screen and the real silicone color.

Text engraving is limited to the built-in fonts using the laser engraver. Up to 10 letters can be engraved per ear, and any combination of upper and lower case letters can be used.

Engraving can be done in Red, Blue, White, Black, Gold, or Silver. The correct color choice should contrast with the color of the earmould.

Non-English languages or English with special fonts cannot be directly engraved. However, they can be converted into graphics and then line engraved with the graphics.

Because we use a standard shopping cart system, it is impossible to input the engraved text or upload the file directly. Therefore, we have prepared a list of items that customers who have purchased engravings need to take care of during the checkout process. Please pay special attention to these items during the checkout process.

Engraved Graphic can be made in Red, Blue, White, Black, Gold, or Silver. The correct color should be chosen to contrast with the color of the earmould.

Generally speaking, the engraved graphic's actual size is about 1.5 x 1.5 cm, so please avoid overly complex designs when selecting a shape, as when the shape is reduced, smaller details may become too small to engrave.  Or, if it is engraved, it may be difficult to see with the naked eye.

We recommend that you scale down the graphic you want to use to a width of 1.5cm and print it out to check feasibility.  Never use your mobile phone or computer screen alone to view the graphic. In many cases, the graphics are automatically resized to fit the screen.

Since we are using soft silicone, please avoid using graphics with large areas of solid color when choosing laser engraving graphics because continuous engraving on the same area with the laser may cause the silicone to overheat and burn.

The ideal graphic file is a vector format graphic file, such as ai, but we can also accept eps or 300dpi jpg or png files.

Because we use a standard shopping cart system, it is impossible to import text or upload files directly into our system. Therefore, we have set up a few things that must be done by the customer who purchases the engraving option during the checkout process.

Various Laser Engraving Samples

The engraved ACS logo can be made in Red, Blue, White, Black, Gold, or Silver. The correct color of the logo should be selected to contrast with the color of the earmould.

The ACS logo is only suitable for engraving on custom monitors' exposed surfaces or full-face custom protective earplugs.  It cannot be done to the PRO Communicators or the Standard or Grip Style custom earplugs.
